Terms of Service
1. Who we are
"Ringmaster", "we", "us", or "our" refers to mhmm s.r.o., the operator of the Ringmaster game and related services (the "Service"). Contact: info@mhmm.cz.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by Discord's Terms of Service and the laws of your country (whichever is higher), and have the capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of others (for example, hosting a game), you are responsible for their compliance with these Terms.
4. License to use the Service
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own non-commercial entertainment. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse other players, including through display names or in-game behavior.
- Use names or content that are unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or that impersonate others.
- Cheat, exploit bugs, script, automate, or otherwise interfere with fair play.
- Disrupt, overload, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service except as permitted by law.
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of Discord's terms or policies.
We may suspend or remove access for anyone who violates these rules.
6. User content and names
You are responsible for the display name and any content you bring into a game. Names and in-game events may be shown to other players and processed by our AI narration providers to generate spoken and captioned commentary. Do not include personal, sensitive, or infringing information in a name. You grant us a limited license to use such content solely to operate and provide the Service.
7. AI-generated content
The Service uses automated systems (large language models and text-to-speech) to generate narration for entertainment. This content is produced automatically, may be inaccurate or unexpected, and does not represent our views. Game rules and outcomes are decided by our deterministic game engine, not by the AI narration.
8. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, including during active games (for example, for maintenance or deployments), without liability. Live game state may be lost when the Service restarts.
9. Accounts (when introduced)
We may offer optional accounts in the future. If you create one, you are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for maintaining the security of your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, artwork, audio, characters, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the license in Section 4, these Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service.
11. Third-party services
The Service relies on and integrates with third parties, including Discord and our AI and hosting providers. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD 50. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
15. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and revoke our access via Discord → User Settings → Authorized Apps. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 10, 12, 13, and 14) will survive.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of the Czech Republic will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
